The Segurança 4.0 (Security 4.0) project, promoted by APSEI, aims to qualify small and medium companies in the extended security sector, in the Centre, North and Alentejo regions, for innovation and competitiveness in the sector, focusing on the digitalization of processes and on increasing the quality of service provided by the sector.

For this sector to be perceived as competitive and differentiating in global markets, it is vital that small and medium companies develop skills that are capable of stimulating innovation in business, products and production processes through Industry 4.0.
